Dr. Hasnain Shinwari

After completing his initial dental education at the University of Peshawar in Pakistan, he eventually moved to the United States and became part of the UCLA Weintraub Research Center. There, he was part of a team that invented revolutionary technology used in dental implantology and osseointegration. To further his skills and expertise, he completed additional training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Boston University.

When it came time to become board certified, he met all the requirements – graduating from medical or dental school, fulfilling 4-6 years of residency training, and completing a written and oral examination.

Today, Dr. Shinwari remains an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, American Board of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and the Virginia Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
